Our product (the Vehicle Location Unit that is fited in the vehicle) is designed to utilize GPS reciever, a cellular network modem (GSM/GPRS/EDGE), and a built-in accelerometer technology. It monitors various vehicle sensors, and provides the customer with a vast variety of real-time tracking activities and information about the car. While fitted in your asset it takes information from low earth orbiting satellites and then it calculates its position using the longitude and latitude location. This information is sent through the GSM network using GPRS technology. This way, the device is capable of keeping the cost of this type of communication at manageable levels. Once the information is collected by our server, it is then routed to our web application database and our clients can now have access to this information. The device can be configured to send data at any reasonable frequency depending on the need for that information.
